How it works
- Open the Mayorlyte ride website
- Tap to open the website on your mobile device.
- Choose your pickup point
- Click on “Where to?
- Click on ” the + symbol next to the pickup box to add stops at any point before or during your trip.
- Change on the go
Add, change or remove a stop from the my-trip feed in the menu.
Dos
- Add extra stops (for group travel) in the app whenever you plan to have multiple stops on your journey
- Add extra stops in order, based on the planned direction of travel
- Give consideration to a driver’s time and avoid unnecessary delays
Don’ts
- Don’t directly request stops from your driver that you haven’t added via the website (Driver will only stop at designated service points)
- The driver will not wait longer than 1 hour on a wait and return or via job, or you will need to pay the driver additional money on the payment platform on the websites, priced at 20.00 GBP for each additional 30 minutes the driver is waiting.
- Don’t make the driver wait at locations that are not safe for parking, such as busy roads or cross-junctions. (Driver will only stop or wait at service points)
- Don’t leave personal belongings in the car– please make sure you take all your items with you. NO EATING OF ANY FORM IN THE CAR.
Once you’re in the car you won’t be able to add a stop, unless you’ve booked by website and followed the instructions above.
If you called to make your booking, you would need to call to add a via, or the driver will only be able to take you to the destination stated on the booking due to the fixed fare pricing system.

Definitions
“we”, “us” and “our” refers to MAYORLYTE LTD.
“you “, “your ” and “user” refers to the person booking a journey via the site or software
“Driver” refers to the Driver that is selected for your journey
“As Directed” refers to a journey where no destination is specified
Limitations on Use of Software
All software, information and data provided by us and used by you to make a booking remains at all times the property of us and is considered as Confidential Information. You warrant that no copyrighted details of either the software will be used other than for the purpose it is intended to be used for and will not be copied or passed on to third parties at any time. We do not warrant that your use of the software will be uninterrupted or error-free; or that the software and/or the information obtained from the software will be accurate or meet your requirements.
You are to Pre-book all trip to help prevent lateness and effective planning. You can pre- book days, weeks and months ahead of your intended travel date. BUT CALL WILL BE ALLOWED FOR EMERGENCY BOOKING (ASAP) THIS WILL ATTRACT EXTRA CHARGES.
Booking Animals for a trip will attract additional cost.
If busy the app will show the service is not available for ASAPs, once the journeys already booked in and have been assigned to drivers, then it will allow you to book in again so please be patient during peak times to enable you to book your journey in.
Debit and credit cards must only be used by the card holder. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH.
NO refund on cancellations after 24 hours and ALL cancellations MUST be done within 24 hours. Customer no shows will NOT be refunded. If a driver is forced to wait more than 1 hour past the booking time, anything out of the pickup location the above charges will apply.
Warranties
You guarantee that you have authority to enter into this agreement and to use our software in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of our software as well as for the use of your name and payment method to pay for services and products purchased using our Software or Site by members of your household, including minors living with you and if you have administrative roles with your employer for which you create bookings for other people such as colleagues or people who ask you to book in a journey. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your company, organisation or household in using our Site or Software is true and accurate. You agree to indemnify us for any breaches of the foregoing warranties.
Terms of Service
These terms and conditions apply to the booking service provided by us.
The booking fee is the amount that the person placing the booking is charged for the delivery of our service. The booking fees help cover operational costs.
The amount of the booking fee will remain the same and is not based primarily on how far the customer wishes to travel.
The booking fee is charged at 3.00GBP per booking.
Please note that in using our service you agree:
- Even though we do everything we can to prevent lateness, delays can happen during peak times, so please book all journeys with this in mind.
- You must be registered with us in order to use the service.
- You are responsible for your login credentials for the services, we will not be liable for any unauthorised bookings made on your account.
- You promise that all information provided by you to us are true, accurate and up to date at all times.
- You promise that any payment made and provided on this website to us are true, accurate and that you have authority to use these details to pay for the services.
- You will make payment in full when we provide services to you. We can provide you the option to facilitate this payment.
- We will not allow children under 12 or primary school age to travel alone in our ride, if they need to go somewhere, they must be accompanied by an adult.
- You are responsible for any bookings made with your account and we will not be liable for any costs due to bookings made on your account.
- You will only use the service to make a booking you wish to fulfil, if we deem that you are misusing the software we reserve the right to disable your account without prior notice.
- You will not use the service for any unlawful purpose including (but not limited to) knowingly introducing viruses, trojans and logic bombs or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems including servers and Databases.
We can amend these terms and conditions to reflect any changes to the services that we provide over time. We will inform you when these changes occur.
We offer the facility to rate your journey upon completion. This is intended for you to provide an opportunity to evaluate the quality of service being provided so that we can keep providing an excellent service. All ratings that we see to be obscene, threatening, abusive or in any way malicious will be deleted and we will suspend the associated user account.
MAYORLYTE LTD accept bookings as an agent, acting on behalf of our self-employed drivers, and will not be completing these journeys directly.
MAYORLYTE LTD will partner with Transport Company and will share journeys to help prevent lateness. Using this service you agree to these terms.
Our services are for Long distance (Long distance is any trip consider to be 30 minutes of travel time) Pre-bookings to the train station, Coach station, Ferry terminal, Airport, doctor appointment, planned meals, Theatre or work etc, (but not limited to) must be pre-booked at least 1 week or more or less in advance.
You promise to book ASAP journeys to any location, with enough time to cover any lateness and distance, we are not liable for any loss of earnings etc due to this.
Any journeys you miss will count as a no show, if this happens on over 20 percent of your overall journeys, your phone number and email address will automatically be blacklisted from the company.
You understand, (even though we will do all we can to prevent lateness by restricting pre-bookings) during peak times delays can happen due to unforeseen circumstances, this means you will need to book the journey in as early as possible to cover any delays, intern prevent you becoming late.
If travelling with a Pet, you will be subject to a 40 GBP fee PLEASE CALL to check if we have one available as this service is NOT available to book on the app/website. unless travelling with a guide dog under UK law.
We ONLY offer a three/four-seater Saloon, 7-8 seater Luxury buses style ride via the app/website, if you request anything else VIA the notes, we will not Guarantee this and will not be liable for any delays caused.
All children travelling should be restrained in a manner appropriate to their age, weight and height. The passenger can supply a suitable child seat and should fit it their self at their own risk.
Luggage/items are carried at your own risk, and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damaged caused whilst travelling in the vehicle.
We will NOT allow anyone under the age of 14, to travel without an adult/carer known to the child for the safety of both child and driver.
MAYORLYTE LTD Drivers will have cameras on throughout the ride for the safety of both passenger and driver.
NO money is to be paid to the driver for booking. BUT passengers can give cash gift to drivers after the journey. Or can be done on the payment platform.
When booking you promise to be ready as soon as the driver arrives, the driver will wait a minimum of 10 minutes from the point of arrival, then may leave.
If in the unlikely circumstance you soil the car, then a fee of up to £100 may be charged to you.
You promise to pay all fare in full.
When travelling with an animal, you must sit in the rear seats, (front seats have a passenger side airbag that can kill or injure the animal).
When travelling with an animal, the animal must be restrained in the correct and legal manner, at your own risk.
If travelling with an unsecured animal, you may be subject to a £5000 fine by your local police, and can void the driver’s insurance, in the unlikely event of an accident.
MONEY UPFRONT IF YOU WISH TO COMPLETE A WAIT AND RETURN JOURNEY, this is to ensure the driver gets paid.
MAYORLYTE LTD reserves the right to charge a 2 removals fee on top of the metered fare, if you try and fill the car with (but not limited to) luggage, household goods, shopping that we deem excessive.
Any booking that requires 3 or more seats will incur an additional 50% charge
